Linear shrinkage rate to be considered when making machine mouth
06-15
Linear shrinkage rate: Linear shrinkage rate is divided into drying linear shrinkage rate and baking linear shrinkage rate, which respectively refer to the percentage of shortened dry brick compared to wet brick and the percentage of shortened finished brick compared to dry brick. Special attention should be paid to the shrinkage rate of the drying line, as it is directly related to the drying cracks generated during the drying process of the brick. The larger the shrinkage rate of the drying line, the greater the harm of drying cracks. The sum of the two shrinkage rates is the total shrinkage rate, which is the basis for how much the finished brick should be enlarged compared to the specified size when making the machine mouth.
